DAILY SCHEDULE

KAREN’S KIDS FAMILY CHILDCARE, LLC

KKFCC, LLC uses curriculum from "The Creative Curriculum" and "The Provider's Helper", both of which are aligned with The Wisconsin Model Early Learning Standards (WMELS) and will guide children in their progress by what interests the child, what material they are currently working with, what skills the children are developing, the weather, etc..

A Typical Day

6:00 am-9:00 am      arrival/breakfast/free choice    children arrive, are greeted and chat with their friends as they choose dramatic play, music, blocks, books, small table toys, art, puzzles, discovery, science, math, large muscle, or writing activities.

9:00 am-9:15 am      morning meeting

9:15am-10:15 am     planned group activity and free choice 

10:15am-10:30 am   snack       

10:30 am-11:30 am  outdoors large muscle     

11:30am-12:15 pm   reading    

12:15 pm-12:45pm   lunch   

12:45 pm-3:00 pm    rest  

3:00 pm- 3:15 pm     snack  

3:15 pm-3:45 pm      reading and afternoon meeting 

3:45 pm-close          free choice and  / or outdoors large muscle

* diapering, toilet learning, and hand washing are all done throughout the day.

* morning meeting is for discussing what the children are interested in, any concerns.

* afternoon meeting is for recapping what we did today and ideas for tomorrow

*school readiness activities are incorporated throughout the day (math, science, literacy, etc...)

*special activities are conducted as needed: birthdays, show & tell, special topic days, carnival, family buffets, etc...
